WELCOME TO MEAL PREP

TIRED OF COOKING? YOU’re IN THE RIGHT PLACE

If you’re looking for a way to eat to optimize your physical performance, track daily nutritional intake, or simply want something delicious to eat that you don’t have to cook yourself... then look no further. 

 

We’ve developed a Meal Prep program where you can take our rotating menu items and customize your meals for the right balance of proteins, vegetables and starches to meet your specific dietary needs. Choose from Petite (low calorie), Regular, or High Protein options and then choose two sides of your choice. The basic proteins will remain the same: beef, fish, chicken, shrimp but we'll vary the preparation, sauces and sides regularly.

Meal Prep is pre-order for pickup, from the fridges at Capital CrossFit Alexandria, CrossFit Lorton or CrossFit Alepou (Alexandria, VA).

Order by midnight on Friday  for pickup the following Wednesday.   

 

Orders will be available for pickup by 6am.

DAVID & SARAH SPOONER

Founders & Co-Owners, Rose N' Boar, LLC

Rose N' Boar was named in honor of David's mother, Rosemarie and in homage to the wild boar inked on David’s shoulder and on his father’s family crest. Sarah handles the calendar, social media & finances. While David is the truck mechanic, equipment repairman and of equal importance, the chef. 

David began studying culinary arts at his vocational high school in Fall River, MA. He continued his formal training at the Rhode Island School of Design. Though his training is classic French, he's worked in all kinds of restaurants and has a love of good food no matter how simple or fancy it may be presented. David is equally happy making french fries as he is with throwing cognac into a hot pan, to start the sauce for steak au poivre.

Before moving to Virginia, David & Sarah lived on Martha’s Vineyard for many years. David catered cocktail, dinner parties, clambakes and weddings large and small. They also opened a small French-American restaurant called Mon Amour. After moving to Virginia, David worked as an Executive Chef, in charge of large culinary operations in both corporate and government services. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic changed...everything, David fast-tracked his side project and finished building-out the food truck.

 

Rose N' Boar opened for service in the summer of 2020 and David has been honored to be cooking for you, ever since.
